There's a lot of talk about AI-- and a lot of noise. We have read, listened to, and reviewed a lot of resources, and here are our favorites so far. (Keep in mind, the expiration date on AI-focused material is fast. Depending on the topic, if something is more than a year old it might be out-of-date.)

    • Google DeepMind and the Raspberry Pi Foundation team up to offer free resources and challenges to introduce AI and machine learning concepts to students ages 11-14 in an engaging and interactive way
  • Day of AI
    • Promotes a global initiative empowering educators and students to navigate AI through curriculum packages and professional development opportunities
    • Supported by MIT Raise (Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education), a new MIT-wide initiative headquartered in the MIT Media Lab designed to rethink and innovate how to holistically and equitably prepare K-12 students in an increasingly AI-powered society

  • Beginner: Introduction to Generative AI Learning Path (Google)
    • Free, consistently updated course that provides a solid introduction to what AI is and how to use it effectively
  • Generative AI for Educators (Day of AI/MIT Raise)
    • Two-hour course designed for teachers to discover how to use generative AI tools to help save time on everyday tasks, personalize instruction, and enhance lessons and activities in creative ways
